DELTARUNE

Here are my DELTARUNE save files where I beat every secret boss and saw most of the dialogue.

I hope that this resource is useful if you want to pick up the game starting after Chapter 1, but you don’t want to miss out on any secrets by using the defaults.

Instructions

  1. Download a file above.

  2. Locate your DELTARUNE data directory.

    • On Windows, go to %LocalAppData%\DELTARUNE.
    • On macOS, go to ~/Library/Application Support/com.tobyfox.deltarune.
    • On Linux (and SteamOS), it’s probably in ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1671210/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/DELTARUNE. This may differ if you installed the game on a separate drive.

  3. Determine how to name the file.

    DELTARUNE’s naming scheme is filech(Chapter)_(Slot).

  4. Replace (Chapter) with the number of the chapter that the file is from.

  5. Replace (Slot) with the number below that matches which slot you want the file to be in.

    • Slot 1: 3
    • Slot 2: 4
    • Slot 3: 5

  6. Finally, put the file in your DELTARUNE data directory, and rename it with the name that you created.

    Make sure that the file’s name does not have an extension! It should not have .txt at the end.

In the chapter select menu, if a star appears for the slot you chose, it worked!

Using the completion data, you can start a new file in that slot in the following chapter.

Addendum

The vessel’s name is set to “VESSEL”, and the player’s name is set to “PLAYER”. These are on the first two lines of the file, so you can change them in your text editor if you’d like.
